    I’m a hospice nurse and I drive around for work. I bought this to warm up my food in my car to hopefully buy take out less etc. It is a great idea and does work but it took 20-30 minutes to warm my food today and that is quite a long time. I will still use it and hope for the best with it.

    I love this thing. I use it to heat my lunch at work. I use it for both leftovers and frozen meals. The product literature and promo videos say you can use it with plastic, but I don’t like to. I tried it once and could smell the burning plastic and taste it. Paper is ok, but I prefer glass. If I have a frozen meal that’s in plastic, I transfer it to a glass dish. It takes 30-40 minutes to heat things up in glass.

    My husband was diagnosed with stomach cancer last year and no longer has a stomach. That means he has to eat several small meals a day. This posed a problem when traveling. I came across this item doing Google Searches and bought it. This allows him to pack meals and store them in the cooler when traveling. When he is ready to heat up the food he drops the container in this warmer. In 30 minutes the food is hot enough to eat. We have used hard plastic so far and no issues with melting. I wish I had known about this when I worked in the office. I would have taken my meals in this and would not have had to wait in line to warm my food up at lunch. WHAT A GREAT INVENTION!

I can put my favorite meal(s) from a home cooked meal or I can put thin cut steak and let it run for 4 hours or more. It comes out perfect. So, it can reheat or cook food. For example, I like to eat sweet potato’s. We put them in the microwave for 5 minutes to get them started.

He reported that depending on the size of his meal it can take 1 hour for a small meal and 2-3 hours for a larger meal. Haven’t tried it with a plastic or paper containers.

    Unbelievable! I put in raw, yes I Said RAW meat in an alunimin pan with reflective lid or metal tray with foil on top, and an hour or 1.5 hours later, you have a cooked burger or steak. It’s not browned but still is a delicious broiled piece of meat. I personally use a separate solar powered generator if I am parked and I don’t want to drain a car battery but it’s no problem to use a car outlet while driving down the highway. It draws 45-50 watts. If you are a carnivore like me, this is perfect to cook your grass fed meats so you don’t have to try your luck eating at a restaurant while on the road.

    I was wanting something to heat up breakfast tacos when I’m spending the day on the water. A Pyrex 1.5qt glass container works great. 9.5”x4.5”x2.5”. I pack my tacos in the Pyrex, leave them in my cooler until ready to heat, and give them about an hour before eating them. It plugs into the 12v cigarette lighter plug on my boat. I was skeptical, but it actually works great. It does get very warm. I left it plugged in for about 4 hours. It got hot enough to almost fry the tortillas. Lol. Little crispy on the side touching the heating element. Worked great for what I was needing it for.

    The hot plate heats up very fast and takes less time to heat up my food than I thought it would. The power cord exits the container while allowing it to be sealed shut to trap in heat while heating. If food is thawed, it may take 1 hour to heat up to warm and even hot. Give it 1.5 hours for semi frozen food. The glass container I use gets too hot to touch after on the plate. I highly recommend this.
    The hot plate is about 5” by 9” in size.

    I purchase this for a family member who drives trucks and is on the road for several days at a time. It fits perfectly in his truck and folds away for easy storage. It also heats and keeps his food warm just as we expected it to. It will not cook raw foods.

    The only downsides which are not a big deal is that you can only use foil type containers and it does not come with a wall plug.

    Great product. It’s the size of a lunch box so easy to transport. Warms food perfectly. So far I’ve only warmed chicken and rice daily but sometimes I forget to mix it mid warm up and it’s still heated evenly. I read reviews that said it melted their plastic but I haven’t had that problem and I use the cheapest containers Walmart sells. I do keep the heating element lined with tinfoil so not sure if that helps or not. Would 100% recommend.

    I strongly recommend using aluminum food container, or foil, for best results.

    We bought 2 for my husband and me. I work as a paramedic and am usually on the road all night. I used to have to hope to get to a microwave throughout my shift, or to spend on a thermos. The thermos food would be luke warm by the time i had a chance to eat. This portable oven is fantastic! It takes some common sense to get optimum results. For instance, some reviews show melted plastic containers. The oven claims you can use plastic, and I have without issue. However, we bought glass containers and it’s much better. Tonight, I took leftovers to work right from the refrigerator. I plugged this in on my way to work (45 min commute). I got to work, plugged it in my vehicle, and was ready to eat about 90 minutes later. My dinner was piping hot! My container was hot as well, so use caution. It is easy to clean, the quality is great for the price and I’m very happy with mine. Hubby has yet to use his (I have NO idea why), but I’m certain when he does, he’s going to love it too.

    What a great lunch bag, a heating lunch bag at that. Easy to use, plug in and go. I leave my Pyrex glass container with plastic lid in it for three hours while it heats my frozen meal (slide the frozen meal in), a small 5 x 6 or a 6 x 7 inch frozen meal- the large meals will not fit inside this bag, though you can defrost it and then pour into a small glass container. I wouldn’t heat a frozen meal in its original paper container (it will burn). After the meal is heated, unplug and leave until your mealtime. I store my bag away so that no one takes it or uses it- they may not know how to use, without my directions. Cleaning might be difficult with spills, because the lunch bag doesn’t detach from sides so you’ll need to use a towel or sponge to clean up any mess. Convenient lunch bag no doubt and warms food very well. Also, The heating pad and plug can be removed which is fabulous for clean up.

    I love this thing! I am a student doing clinicals and there is no microwave nearby in this tiny office I am working at! So I bought this lunch box and I plug it in with my food inside 30 minutes before lunch and it works so well!! I would give it at least the 30 minutes to get your lunch nice and toasty. I plugged it in an hour and a half and it did not burn it or anything just kept it at a nice temperature. I plugged it in on top of a plastic storage container and it did not affect it at all so that’s super nice. Let’s just say everyone is a little envious of my lunch box 😏 I would buy 10 of these if I needed them.

    As a truck driver, I’m always looking for compact things that also work well. This fit the bill perfectly. I put a chunk of frozen lasagna in a glass container, put it in the bag and it really heated it up! I had to unplug it a half hour I planned to eat because it got that lasagna molten hot.
    This is more a foil-lined bag that has a heating plate you put in the bottom. It came with a 12 volt plug and a regular plug which I used since I have an inverter. Once cool, it folds down to fit into a drawer, a cabinet, a pocket on the back of a seat, whatever. It does have a handle so you can move it around. I don’t know if I will actually cook in this but it will be great for reheating leftovers.

    I have had this product for about two weeks now. I work in construction. This little thing is phenomenal. The hot plate heats up to about 325°. You can plug this into your car, do not leave it plugged into your car without it running, it will drain the battery. You can also plug it into a home outlet or a generator. It folds up very nicely for storage behind my seat. If I absolutely had to complain about anything it would be that it takes about an hour to heat up whatever you put in there, but as long as you time it right you will have a hot meal when you want it. The hot plate cooks tortillas perfectly. I highly recommend this product. Purchased some glass Tupperware for it it heats a little bit better and evenly.

    This is a wonderful lunch box , my husband is a garbage man and is in his truck all day. Lunch is either a sandwich or some fast food which the fast food gets expensive and not as healthy. This great lunch box allows me to back leftovers from dinner and he plugs in and hour before his lunch and gets at nice homemade hot meal.

    The only reason this doesn’t have a 5star review is because the first one I ordered was defective. It worked for a week and a half then went dead. My other half is a truck driver, so this was absolutely the best thing ever for us. Finally, she was able to take home cooked meals for lunch and dinner. Definitely worth the hassle of returning and repurchasing.

    Good product! Gave this to my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. He works in excavating, so is usually in his dump truck or stone slinger. Easy to use and clean. Fits 2 aluminum mini loaf pans perfectly. Can’t talk about value, as it’s only been a week, but so far, totally worth the money.

    The one time my husband was able to use it, he said it worked great. However he did want to say that if you run a vehicle with a 24 voltage system…be careful what plug in you use. As he accidentally plugged it into the 24 volt plug and melted the bag, the element, the food, and his coat. Beside that, worked great

    I have a driving job, and this little food warmer has been a game changer. With the colder months upon us, I’m so glad I have a way to eat warm lunches while on the road all day long. It could be a bit bigger, but it is fine for regular sized Tupperware containers. I did notice that it works better on a flat surface, rather than on the seat next to me. Food is perfectly heated. I wouldn’t say scalding hot, but definitely warm and works as it should seeing how it’s not a microwave or a stove top. I definitely recommend for anyone who works on the road all day long.

    Great little heating lunchbox. It does take a little time to really heat food through, which is in the description, but does the job nonetheless. I’m not sure I would ever cook food in this from raw to cooked, but I don’t doubt that it could do it in about 2-3 hrs. If you are on the road all the time this would work great for you.

    Takes about 30 minutes to heat up but that’s fine with my partner since he’s a truck driver…. while he’s doing stops he can warm his lunch up before he goes on break and since the pandemic no one lets him use their microwave anymore so this is a nice investment.

    I purchased this for my husband. He uses it to warm up his lunches. It work well but after about 15 uses it’s seems not to warm as well. The plug does not seem to stay in place when it’s plugged into the car/cigarette outlet.

    I’m loving this little oven. I food prep on Sundays for the week. I drive a school bus, now I can just warm up my food while traveling down the road, instead of waiting to get back to the yard to use a microwave or just packing salads or sandwiches. We are in our busy season, so I leave the yard at 6AM and return from 5:45PM to 10PM, no more fast food or just being hungry for me!

    Does a great job heating my food up. I’m constantly in my work vehicle driving around and always lunch in it and I always had the problem of not being able to take warm food, not with this anymore. It definitely heats up your food but from it taking an hour to heat up a dish to it not having an on off switch great product really gets the job done and built very well

    I really enjoy this portable oven, I take a frozen dinner I put it in plug it into the cigarette lighter, and by lunchtime I have a hot meal, that’s much cheaper than going to the restaurants.
    This device pulls 3 A while running, it pulls 3 A for about two hours while it’s heating up whatever you put into it, and then it backs down to an 1.5 A to keep it warm.
    My car battery never drop below 11.8 volts with the device running for 4 hours.
    I have cooked hamburgers from raw frozen meat, and after four hours it was fully cooked.
    Frozen meals that have bread with them Need to be covered, or the bread gets really dry.
    Frozen potatoes work OK, they just don’t come out crispy.
    The plastic base of the cooker has cracked, but the cooker still works.
    It would be nice if the heating plate was watertight, for easier cleaning in for accidental spills inside the device.
    Overall it works great.
